Constructed with a durable layered design, this 5’ x 6’ (1.5 m x 1.8 m) industrial fire blanket is engineered to withstand extreme heat during thermal runaway situations. Compact and easy to deploy, it comes stored in a bright safety-orange carrying bag for rapid access when every second counts. • Tested to extreme heat standards:
• Outer material melting point: 2450°F+
• Seam thread operating temperature: 2000°F
• 1MM BTU Torch Test: 15 min at 1900°F (max cold side temp 111°F)
• 3rd Party Test: 1950°F flame side for 60 min (cold side measured 213°F)
• Resistant to most chemical reagents and corrosive agents
• Materials conform to FAA 14 CFR 25, Appendix F burn test requirements (reports available upon request)
